Is Freedom of Speech Important?

Plan to attend our meeting featuring Elisabeth Sabaditsch-Wolff

When: Tuesday, February 25th, at 7 p.m.

Where: Grandy's in Sherman, 3201 Texoma Parkway

Topic: Protecting our 1st Amendment right of free speech

Elisabeth is a free speech advocate who lost her ability to speak freely in Europe.

In 2009 she was initially charged with “hate speech” under Austrian law. She has been

hectored, vilified, persecuted, and prosecuted for the grave offense of telling the truth about Mohammed and his

“marriage” to a very young child as related in Islamic sacred literature.

Her case has exposed the grave danger to freedom of speech (and thus, freedom of thought itself) in Europe.

Elisabeth, a native of Austria, fought bravely in the legal arena through the Austrian courts and on to the European Court of Human Rights to defend her freedom (and by extension the rights of all Europeans), to freely voice her opinion.

But - SHE LOST! truthwasmycrime.com

Since then, Elisabeth has been speaking out about global challenges like censorship, misinformation, and cancel culture. She will also compare U.S. elections vs. European elections and provide insights into how President Trump is perceived in Europe.

Our Vice President JD Vance recently addressed the 61st Munich Security Conference.

In his speech, Vance said that European democratic institutions and rights to freedom

of speech were being undermined. (from Wikipedia). He further stated "free speech, I fear, is in retreat." This is the real threat.

We will be asking for a “love offering” to help defray Elisabeth’s travel costs.

Our meetings are open to the public, and everyone is welcome.

We invite you to come early and dine with us in the meeting room.

Enjoy Grandy’s southern cuisine.
