Fly the American Flag Proudly!

Today is Flag Day.

I love to watch the video of The Star Spangled Banner (https://www.youtube.com/embed/YaxGNQE5ZLA) and learn how Francis Scott Key was inspired to write the words of our National Anthem. It illustrates how important our flag was to those patriots who fought for our freedom. Furthermore, brings out a sense of patriotism and pride in our nation - "one Nation under God."

Share your love for our flag with a young person who is no longer able to salute it daily in school, someone who is being taught that America is not a great nation, because it certainly is great.

This Flag Day celebrates the 1777 adoption of the Stars and Stripes as our official symbol. And be sure to fly it with pride!
