Experiences from our southern border

We are holding our first meeting of the year on Monday, January 13th, at 7 p.m., at the

Grayson County Courthouse - Activities Room, 100 W. Houston Street, Sherman.  (Enter through the Lamar Street entrance across from Knight Furniture and take the elevator to the 2nd floor.)

Our presenter is Brigadier General Mike Wallace (retired).  He is the former Assistant Division Commander (Maneuver) of the Texas Army National Guard, 36th Infantry Division.  One of his responsibilities with the 36th was overseeing thousands of soldiers deployed to our southern border.  General Wallace and his former Legal Counsel Eric Bales will discuss with us some of the experiences they encountered at the border.

The General has a distinguished military record.  After graduating from the West Point class of 1994, he was commissioned and served in the infantry branch.  He is both Parachutist and Ranger qualified and has received the Air Assault Badge.  He had multiple deployments to both Iraq and Afghanistan.  In his civilian career, he is owner and National Sales Director for 401 Plans.

Eric Bales is a former U.S. Immigration Judge and career immigration prosecutor.  Now back with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, he is currently assigned to the Dallas field office where he prosecutes multiple deportation cases each week.

We welcome members of the community to our events. There is no charge to attend and there are no membership dues, but donations are appreciated. Here you meet like-minded freedom loving Texans. It's time to Speak Up! Be loud and proud! We can no longer be the silent majority!
